What On Earth is a Marketing Funnel?

If you own a business, you need a marketing funnel đź’°
The goal of a marketing funnel is to take a prospect from 0% customer, to 100% customer, and beyond.
For example, if I owned a landscaping company, I would create a marketing funnel like this:
Facebook ads, Google Ads, & social media content to get people to go to my landing page
The landing page encourages the visitor to schedule a time to meet to discuss their project
The landing page (once they schedule a meeting) confirms the appointment, then also encourages them to join our Facebook group where we post daily about amazing landscaping projects, and more
They are automatically enrolled in ongoing email automations specifically designed to deliver emails every day, including case studies, past projects, etc to increase our credibility and get them excited for the project. It also reminds them about our upcoming meeting.
Then we meet and close the deal (and ask for referrals)

A potential customer that doesn’t become a customer right away should not be forgotten. They should be in your company’s marketing funnel forever. So if they ever need your services, you’re the first one that they would consider.
