Local SEO is a Game Changer ⚡️
The best local businesses understand local SEO. If your audience is within a specific geographic area, congratulations, you can benefit from local SEO.
Local search engine optimization (local SEO) is the process of optimizing your website and other profiles so powerful search engines such as Google prioritize your listings and show them to plenty of potential customers.
But, just because you have a website and have claimed your free local profiles does not mean you're actively involved in a long-term local SEO campaign.
Local SEO is a long-term digital marketing strategy that can yield powerful results. The thing is, you need to understand that it really is a long-term strategy.
Here's the basic steps of local SEO:
Optimize your website with your selected keywords
Optimize your local profiles with the same keywords
Post regularly on your Google Business profile (add real images!)
Add product/service cards to your Google Business profile
Get reviews + respond to all reviews (even bad reviews)
Monitor your local SEO campaign regularly
If you haven't noticed, a big portion of local SEO happens within your Google Business profile (formerly called, "Google My Business).
